Guest guest
Thank you all for the support! Your words are encouraging and it is helpful to know that my feelings are not unique. Mark, your input made a lot of sense to me. The preasure to be positive and put a best foot forward shouldn't invalidate the true feelings. Nothing wrong with calling it what it is, huh? I think that will be helpful for me to remember. Joe, thank you for your comments. My husband and I both enjoyed reading your email. Take care all. Re: Growth hormone From: Mdppdm@... Hi , You know what it does suck and its okay to purge. I actually leaned to say it stinks because of something that happened with . A few monthsafter she had recieved her G-tube someone gave her a Barbie coloring book a Barbie coloring book and several days after she got my wife and I were flipping through it and noticed that each picture had chains and rope coming off it. This really concerned us. Alls I could think " This is A Jerry Springer show waiting to happen " . We begsan to notice that a lot of her pictures and play involved tying up of some sort. We brought this up to the 's Dr. She said she thouight it was an expression of 's anger toward the pump. She feels tied up. And maybe we need to let know that it is OK to think being on a pump really rots sometimes. We did everything in our power to make it a positive experience that we didn't give enough opportunity to say THIS SUCKS!!! It stinks that we have to worry about where they go and what they do because if they get sick they will lose weight or get dehydrated. You are a good parents!!!You are doing a great job!!! And its okay to be mad about it all!!! I don't know if this is of any value I just wanted you know I think we all get pretty mad and sad about it all sometimes.
