Guest guest
Ladies, I ran across this article this morning. It is very recent...Feb. 2003 and very informative. It sheds light on some topics we have discussed recently, including vascular vs. fibrous septum. It also indicates that an MRI can be used to determine vascualrity of septum. It mentions transcervical ultrasound as an aid in Septum resection. Also mentions 3-D ultrasound as a dx procedure. Surprisingly, it indicates that surgery should not always be performed in the presence of a septum. Take this info with a grain of salt. While the article is quite informative, some of the information, such as the when to perform surgery, is up for debate. www.emedicine.com/med/topic3521.htm Aleida
