Guest guest
Kendall is out of danger medically. Our wonderful insurance that we pay so much for informed us yesterday they do not pay for residential treatment....so Kendall is in an acute care psych. ward at our local hospital....I am not happy. Guest guest
Jodi, I am glad to hear your d is out of danger, physically anyway. Been down that road before myself w/insurance companies. Wonder sometimes what they do for us. I cant believe they wouldnt cover the expenses. Not even a rehab? Not very encouraging as that is what I am looking into doing with my BPD. I fought with them once for over a year to pay an ambulance bill. It always boils down to the money. This is the first question whenever I take her for care..............who' paying the bill. Kinda makes you wonder if she would get treatment if it wasnt for insurance. Anyway, I am glad to hear she is doing okay and hopefully you are too. My thoughts are with you. Guest guest
Finally got Kendall into a " acute care " facility treating kid/adolescents....short term with my insurance. They have seen kids like Kendall before, so I am hopeful. Biological dad and I go down for first family session tomorrow. Then Stepdad and I another day......I am so tired and drained...but thankful my little girl survived.
