Guest guest
Stacey, Under 6 months, no sunscreen just coverings and hats and shade. Wendi Re: Intro no, thanks for the input! It was my understanding, tho, that babies under 6 mo of age have very thin skin and you shouldn't put sunscreen on them. I'm taking her to the ped tomorrow and I'll ask him. stacey Re: Intro > From: Fafahahema@... > > okay...my reply to the zoo was a little late....maybe i should read my mail > more often....sorry yall > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Tired of empty chat rooms and out of date bulletin boards? > http://www.ONElist.com > ONElist: Making the Internet Intimate > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Breastfeeding is Best!! > http://www.mariaann.com/breastfeeding > Remember to Vote in our Weekly Breastfeeding Poll!! > If you like this list also check out http://www.onelist.com/subscribe.cgi/weanedbuddies > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ shop.theglobe.com * One Stop Shopping * Free Shipping in the U.S.! Guest guest
Hi everyone,
My name is Jo and I am a SAHM. My daughter Micaela was born on March 4, 1999. Of course she is beautiful, as her mother I HAVE to say that. I also have two other children, Hannah--8 and Caleb--3. I have breastfed all of my children and am enjoying it again with this one, although I would have to admit that she has been the hardest to feed--she likes to eat only on one side--then refuses the other side--doesnt matter which one. I have finally figured out that I can't let her nurse longer than 5 minutes on the first side in order to get her to eat on the second--at least it works for us and she is still going 3 hours between feedings.
Guest guest
Jo, Welcome to the list. My son would only nurse on one side too. I would let him and just make sure we did the other one the next time. It took him about 3 months to be able to stay awake until the second one. Congratulations! Guest guest
> Congratulations Lou. You look fabulous. Glad to have you with us. Thank you, dear!!! I am glad to have made it to my year post op so fast..lol. Seems like just yesterday! I had a lady at work tell me today that I must not have much left to lose. I said " Honey, I weigh 271! " She said " GET OUT!!! You and I are the same height, and you can't weigh 71 pounds more than I do! " Needless to say, that made my day...lol! Monday a lady at my support group gave me a bunch of clothes. Size 20 pants and 22-24 shirts and sweaters. The shirts and sweaters fit great, and even 2 pairs of the Size 20 pants are wearable!! It is amazing how different we are shaped...that lady in work who talked to me weighs 200 and is the same height, and wears 16-18's! She told me at the rate I am going, I will be in a size 12 when I weigh 200..yeah..and then I wake up, right?? ROFLOL!!! Sorry to ramble...I have a bad cold, and have been awake since 1:30 AM and am a little punchy. =o) Blessings and thanks for the welcome! Lou The optimist says the glass is half full.
