Guest guest
Hi Kathy, or K2 if that's you, Welcome to the group. Usually I am a lurker but the last 2 weeks I haven't been able to do that much. This is a great group. Yes, I have been on amitriptyline 10mg for several years. My rheum started me at 10mg and increased it to two tablets nightly that I can tolerate. It does help me sleep. Also take Soma, muscle relaxant at night, too. I have had fibro for several years and it never got worse till last year. Last week I had a bad flare so I couldn't check the board much. Doing better now. warm hugs, Debbie J > > My doctor diagnosed that I do have fibromyalgia. He perscribed > AMITRIPTYLINE 10MG TABLETS and warm water excercise. Is anyone else > on this drug? Guest guest
Hi! It wasn't me, but another Kathy. Great information from both of you, though! K2 > Hi Kathy, or K2 if that's you, > >
Guest guest
> I also am on Amitryptylene, 10 mg for now. The doc initially tried me on Lexapro, but I couldn't stay awake and I have to work all day. Driving in to work in the morning was pretty hairy. I'd used amitryptylene years ago, but had been in a remission of sorts for the last five years. (I was diagnosed 15 years ago)I had a couple of really bad falls, and the fibro kicked in again with a vengeance. I told him I'd used it in the past and it helped me sleep without leaving me groggy, but of course they always want you to try " something new " . Where do you go for the warm water excersize? I was thinking of looking into that. Sometimes I consider just checking into a hotel with a jacuzzi overnight, just for the relief! It would be nice if I could find a way for the insurance to pay for it! Sandy > > > > > > My doctor diagnosed that I do have fibromyalgia. Guest guest
Welcome K2!! Sorry I didn't welcome you last week. Thanks for understanding the mix up. Last week I had a flair so couldn't keep up with the group. I really do appreciate you reading my note, too! Get few responses to mine so I am happy you did. warm hugs, Debbie J > > > Hi!
