Guest guest
***Comment from Co-Owner: Fibromyalgia is a neuromusculoskeletal (meaning that it can affect nerves, muscles and bones (meaning the joint pain) so yes, the electric sensations that are felt by some fibromites can be part of fibromyalgia. In the book by Dr. Devin Starlanyl she mentioned that most fibromites who have this symptom are afraid to tell their drs about it. As for underlying disease it's been said that some should be checked for Lyme Disease. *** Yes..me again! (smiling) Does anyone worry that there is a serious underlying disease or condition and it is being masked in the catch all fibro syndrome? I am so worried about this neuropathy...(the electric feelings in my arms, legs and panic feeling. I never had that with my fibro before. I remember crying and feeling depressed....but never panicky. So the worry wart I am feels scared that there is a big time thing wrong with me and the doctor will say it is a bad fibro flare. I see him today at 3pm.... and I got a feeling he will do the typical blood work and probably put me on cymbalta. Well.... I was just curious if any of you worry....or have distress about something being more wrong than just the fibro. I supose when you feel so yucky all over it may be normal to worry.
