Hi Barb!

I live in Nashville.

I really like the doctor team I have at the pain clinic. The man can

be a little grumpy at times, but he is very kind and attentive to his

patients. The woman is just wonderful...every time I come in I see

her come out and greet people by name, ask how they're doing, that

sort of thing. The only thing I don't like is that they don't accept

insurance. The reason is simple...they don't want anyone telling them

how to run the office, and how to treat their patients. There are

always new Federal " guidelines " being issued, and many insurance

companies are very restrictive and becoming more so.

The woman doctor had a bad back injury a few years ago, and she

understands the pain the patients feel. She is so easy to talk to,

and makes everyone feel at ease instantly.That's why some people are

willing to drive in from Virginia, Florida, Alabama, Missouri, and

other great distances to see the doctors. When you go into the

office, it's packed with people who are willing to wait for hours to

see them. (in April they're moving to a larger office) One thing,

they alternate patients, taking them as they free up, so you never

know which doctor you'll see. It's actually a good system, because

you have two doctors who are extremely aware of what's going on with

your health issues, and they offer many solutions besides just meds.

They have TENS units they sell at cost, as well as other options for

treatment. They also deal with weight issues.
