Zip Drive and fire safe

I can vouce for that, having just once AGAIN lost data which I was certain I

had backed up completely. I just had my system upgraded, hard drives wiped

clean and everything reinstalled, plus a better processor and more memory.

So I dutifully " exported " all my important Outlook files, address book, e

mail keepers, schedule, etc. I thought I was putting them safely on a zip

disk, but now when I go to " import " them, they are nowhere to be found.

It's so frustrating! I should have made two copies, and gone back to open

them again and make sure they were really there. I have no idea what could

have gone wrong.

On a related note, I have a small fire safe purchased at Walmart. It is

supposed to provide enough protection to keep documents safe, I wonder if it

would work for disks too?

Once you've lost data, you'll do anything you can to make sure that it

never happens again!!!
