I have shrinkage and black holes - which is why my neuro says I'm

secondary progressive. However, I have fewer symptoms than many who are

relapsing-remitting. Go figure!

has anyone been told that they had shrinkage of the brain during the reading of their mri's?

I don't know if I have shrinkage, but last MRI, brain and cervical, I had many lesions in the brain but none in the spine. I haven't walked/stood in 7 years. Go figure??? That was 1 1/2 years ago. Prior to that, the last MRI was in 1999. That's why my Neuro was shocked...he actually thought there would be more lesions in the brain and at least one or more in the spine. So, maybe LDN is working??? Listen up!!! Everyone...don't let yourselves get any infection! The bladder infection that I had two weeks ago has really drained the energy out of me. Truly, I have thought that I was dying. I'm a bit beetter now. Have they ever MRI'd normal brains, would they know what a normal brain looked like in an MRI, or would they just assume that there is a problem with that person's brain, becuse they had an MRI? I just wonder how reliable an MRI really is.>> I have shrinkage and black holes - which is why my neuro says I'm > secondary progressive. However, I have fewer symptoms than many

samething here neuro says theres no reason showing why he is not walking.

SO NOW I HAVE TO MAKE BROTHER BELIEVE THAT HE CAN WALK AGAIN OR HE WILL GIVE

UP ALL HOPE. MAYBE THATS WHY HIS LEGS ARE STARTING TO MOVE AND FEELINGS

COMMING BACK ITS ALL IN HIS HEAD " NOT " BUT WOULD BE NICE TO THINK

Dr. Bihari does not put a lot of weight on MRI's. nor do I. Not that it matters, I have no medical training but have been dealing with MS for over 23 years. No one knows our bodies and brains like ourselves. No drugs, just common sense and natural treatments and LDN for me

Regards,

Tom

Take "D-Mannose" for the bladder infection. one teaspoon in 8oz. of water twice a day. The infection will be gone in a few days.

Tom

Hi Dave,

Makes sense Tom, have you ever tried the hydroxocobalamin? Is that the sublingual B-12 ? I'm having good results with it combined with folirinse. Not familiar with "Folirinse", what is that ?

Regards hope all is well.

Hi ban-em-dano,

Got it, thank you.

[low dose naltrexone] Re: [lowdose brain shrinkage

Hi Tom, I hope you even see this before I get banned again and all my messages disappear

It's a treatment that many of us are trying. A VERY quick dissolving sublingual called Perque Activated B-12 Guard. To it we are adding a drop of a 10% folate solution called folirinse. It was designed as a treatment for autism, but the thought was that autism is closely related to MS. For me, it gives me a boost of energy, and less brain-fog. I take this 2-3 times per day.
