Hi Rhonda,

It will count if you take sometime just for yourself - find a little while

each day to sit down with a cup of tea and enjoy a few chapters or even a few

pages of the book.

What is the name of the book you purchased?

What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon! I went to & Noble and

bought a book. Does that count? LOL! I love to read. But, it seems there's

never much time to sit and read as much as I'd like to. Having an afternoon to

read a book sounds awesome! I spent my day preparing for a class I am teaching

on professionalism on Saturday. So, I spent the day writing.

I did something today I don't usually do, in fact, haven't done it for

several years. After getting home from Sunday School, then having breakfast,

checking email, I sat down and started reading a book I started a few nights

ago. I

read all afternoon and finished the book. It was just one of those

afternoons that was meant for reading.

Good evening, Eunice

I always find a LITTLE time to read, and I always find time for my cup of tea!

I'd just like to take a whole afternoon like you did. I'm always reading

something - it's usually inspirational/motivational. The book I purchased today

is " NEVER say NEVER - Ten lessons to turn you can't into YES I CAN " by Phyllis

. I'll read some of it tonight. Oh, and since I do a lot of training, I

bought another book called, " The Accelerated Learning Handbook - A Creative

Guide to Designing and Delivering Faster, More Effective Training Programs. "

Hope you have a relaxing evening! I'm going to curl up with my book and read

for awhile. I may watch a late movie with my daughter since both of us are off

tomorrow. I worked all day Saturday, so I do not have to work tomorrow. My

daughter is out of school for MLK Day. We are planning a nice relaxing day

tomorrow (maybe I will get to finish my book!) and go out for lunch with my son

('s son).

What did you read today?

Rhonda

Hi Sandy,

I buy some of my books at the thrift stores also. Also, buy them at flea

markets, yard sales and I do some trading. I very seldom pay full price for

books

or anything else for that matter.

I enjoyed your message. It was uplifting.

I like mysteries, too, especially with a little romance mixed in. Grisham

is good, also. THE FIRM is my favorite among his writings. I thought the movie

was good, too.

What did you read today?

The book was " Whispers at Midnight " by Robards. It was a mystery. I

did not care for some of the language, but I skipped over that.
