Guest guest
As you know I lost all or most of my files and folders in Juno. I therefore lost any info that was given on Zip Drive. I can probably retrieve our discussion on the security thank God. Now I have a question re Zip Drive. A neighbor has one and said he would give it to me for free since he found his needs met with the CD-RW. He has an omega 250. Does this sound secure enough? What do you guys use? Any chance you use both a CD and a Zip? Thanks for any help. Aliceanne
Guest guest
I have both a 250 MB zip drive and a 650 MB RW CD. I use both. What I do is to back up to the CD once per week, and then to the zip once a both. It may sound like overkill, but I learned a long time ago that it was best to have at least 2 backups. I even have 2 sets of zip disks. I call them Set A and Set B, and I alternate between them each time I back up. ----- Original Message ----- As you know I lost all or most of my files and folders in Juno. Guest guest
I don't really have a cold. Promise. " and then to the zip once a both " should be " and then to the zip once a month " <G> ----- Original Message ----- I have both a 250 MB zip drive and a 650 MB RW CD. I use both.
