Guest guest
Nortriptylene is a better one for sleep and pain. It is related to Elavil but a different chemical makeup, as what my dr has told me. i take seraquel for sleep and it works like a dream for me, most of the time. For pain I take panlor ss. I didn't call the doc asking for a narcotic, just something different as it seems that I have developed a tolerance for what I have been taking. " .........Hey , you survived the weekend, even if it was lousy. I remember being switched from amitriptylene to trazadone. I was on trazadone for years and it helped with sleep. Early on I also took an NSaid called Salsalate. My RH at that time said it was as gentle as taking Tylenol. I would take it twice a day every day to hopefully keep the pain signals at bay. Lots of people on the list seem to be getting big relief from Lyrica, although it is very expensive. Good luck with the doctor today and getting some much needed relief.
