Did you you just put a bar of soap (wrapped or unwrapped?) in the bed?

Where? Down by your feet? Under your pillow? Between your legs? It

seems nuts but I'm going to have to give it a go!

Phil,

I know it sounds nuts, but I was desperate enough to try it.

And it seemed to work.

I took two bars of cheap supermarket soap and put each one in an old sock in the bed, one close to each leg.

Tonight I'm going to cut the bars of soap into smaller pieces and scatter them around the bed. See what else it might help with.

Thank you Aletha,

Danny

I would have tried "Beauty Soap", but that's never worked for me in the past.

Hi Phil,

I think the soap should be unwrapped. First just try putting it near the

areas effected by either spasms or pain and see if that works. If not then

try grating it or cutting it in small pieces and putting it in a sachet and

somehow strapping it to the effected areas up against the skin (so it

remains close). If it does not work then try rubbing liquid soap into your

skin in the areas needed. It is cheap and worth a try.

Thats amazing. I wonder, if someone could figure out the science

behind this, if they could come up with a treatment for spasms?

There's something going on there, not placebo effect. Your post is

worth repeating Danny, thank you.

I'm only one day into this "mystical" therapy, so I can't yet swear by it yet.

And I'm not the one that deserves any credit or thanks.

A good treatment for muscle spasms is enough Magnesium plus vitamin B6 as when those nutrients are depleted, spasms happen.

Danny I'm happy it worked too whether it was the soap or the "young girl"! Maybe both! Best, Kathy

In my experience, no, as long as it is in liquid form and in low and frequent enough doses to replenish Mg stores in the body without experiencing loose stools. You want the Mg absorbed rather than expelled.

Most American's diets are Mg deficient as well as omega-3 fatty acid deficient leading to significant imbalances that express physically and emotionally in many ways.

There is lots of good research that supports what I am writing here.

Since my income is very limited, I use Milk of Magnesia. Others use natural calm, Mg citrate, Mg chloride,Mg taurate, Magonate......

But in the end, it is all the same. Get enough Mg to replenish the cells. I knew that was happening simply by how my body was finally responsing.

Epsom salt (Mg SO4) baths also help big time.

Its made a huge difference for me and for two golden boyz was a miracle for one of them.cyndiOn Jul 15, 2006, at 10:05 PM, foxhillers@... wrote:Cindi In my experience, no, as long as it is in liquid form and in low and frequent enough doses to replenish Mg stores in the body without experiencing loose stools. Epsom salt (Mg SO4) baths also help big time. mjh"The Basil Book"http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/ .
