Father planted turnips as a winter crop, and they are coming in. I boil

them in acidulated water with some salt. For the roots, I generally

take a potato rec. and substitute the turnip root.

Does anyone else here like turnip greens?

Absolutely love them! However, I only tried them for the first time

about a year ago. Now, I eat them all the time.

Hi Angelina,

I get satay sauce at the supermarket - its a peanut sauce with a little

cayenne added. But you could probably make it - I would probably add peanut

butter to a low carb salad dressing, with a little cayenne?

Its especially good if the spinach is still chilled.

I'll have to try that. I like peanut sauce, but most of the store brands

are not right. Runny, sour, too hot. I have found a peanut soup (try

that) package that makes a nice peanut sauce, but it is very sugary. =(
