Acidophilus is a good bacteria for your body/intestines. You can find

it in some milks, yougurts, or straight in healthfood stores.

Yes, yogurt helps but doesn't have a lot of it, so if I were taking

antibiotics, I'll take the acidophilus capsules also.

It does help. It also has the added benefit of helping prevent yeast

infections. I was warned to expect vaginal infections with the diabetes. :-p

It can. But some brands of yogurt have more acidophilous bacteria than

others.
