Guest guest
Hi Deb, Yes I wondered about the raynauds thing. I just turned 39 in Sept. So im in a weird time I quess. With already having hormone trouble most of my life, its a very grey area. I've had trouble since I was about 19. The area is next to my windpipe to the right side, down towards the base of my neck, and if I stretch my neck out the side like to the left and up it really feels thickened and is more noticeable under the fingers. About the color: I have a certain discoloration around my neck anyway, its in small patches farther back on my neck around the base, but that is something else. but the area Im talking about, has a slight red mark and one day it got a little redder and itched, then went away quickly. I dont think its any kind of allergic reaction or anything. Yes, I have to get it checked. As I write Im getting clammy, something's out of whack, wish somebody could do something, give me something!! Well, find out what you can, will write back later. Can't really say if my fingers ever get icy cold though. Thyroid gland and it's hormones do control temp regulation so there may be a problem there. I just posted a good site about the thyroid gland. Don't know how old you are but I am 50 and in perimenopause right now. When I had bad night sweats, my doctor put me on a Estrogen & a Progesterone hormones which helped stop them. The swelling on your right side, is it near your throat near the middle between chin & chest? Tell me more about it and I can ask the people in one of my other groups about it. It sounds odd that it will get red, itchy and swollen then subsides. You probably need a neck ultrasound which is painless. I had one Monday to evaluate problem nodes in my neck. Hope this helps. I can only tell you about my experiences right now. Not sure how to search for all your problems. hugs, Debbie J > > > > > --------------------------------- > > Access over 1 million songs - Yahoo!
