The hospital wasn't fancy but very clean and I was well taken care of. I was lucky my hubby went with me. I research and read alot on http://www.obesityhelp.com for months before making my decision. And why in Mexico? Because I don't have health insurance so hubby and I took out a loan so I could have the surgery. It was that or a early grave for me with my diabetes and depression. My family doctor sees me for my follow ups. PLUS I have learnt so much from all these yahoo groups and still continue to do so. Thank you everyone for sharing such a wealth of information! I haven't researched the plastic surgeries yet but it seems like alot have it done in Brazil. I am only 7 1/2 months out so I'm not too worried about that yet. Thank you for asking and none of your questions were too personal. I'm happy with my decision and would do it over and over again. Have a wonderful night!
