Hi all,

I went to a Dr. in Spokane, and he prescribed the LDN. I asked him

about it and he said " I'll prescribe it for you. Did you hear about it

in some sort of chat room? or do you have friends that are on it? " I

told him both. But I found it interesting that he didn't want to talk

about it at all. He prescribed 3.5 mg. Is that too much? I won't

start until next week because it will have to be mailed to me.

My doc is the same. She says that it won't work but she got tired of me asking. I am on 4.5 She told me to take it twice a day, but I know that is not correct. I am going to wait to tell her I am only taking it one time a day until I have something positive to tell her. I have an MRI next month. Don't know if it will show anything yet but I do have faith it is going to help. One week now and I really do have more stamina and my legs are not going to rubber after working outside for an hour in the garden.

Cyndi,

Thanks I have not taken it twice a day and I stopped the Beta-seron. You told me that the first day I started it.and I actually listened to you over my doc. The stuff that I read conferred with what you said.

I do thank you for the information. I spent today at a church meeting for eight hours with no air conditioning. It was in the 80's in the building (no air cond) and normally I would have all but collapsed but I did OK.

I take it usually between 10PM and 1AM. My problem is that I often don't go to sleep until after 2AM. Comes from years of working evenings and nights as a nurse. My body doesnot know when to go to bed. I guess I should make a better effort to sleep a little earlier but my mind and body functions better late.

thats fine-it doesn't matter when you go to bed as long as you take it during these hours. we spoke about that at the conference Dr gluck was adamant about this -he was referring back to what Dr Bahari had to said.this was discussed in depth because people were talking about what to do if they travel to another time zone and the answer was to take it between those hours at the time zone you were in.cyndiOn Jul 2, 2006, at 12:07 AM, Peg Janssen wrote:I take it usually between 10PM and 1AM.  My problem is that I often don't go to sleep until after 2AM.  Comes from years of working evenings and nights as a nurse.  My body doesnot know when to go to bed.  I guess I should make a better effort to sleep a little earlier but my mind and body functions better late.      Peg  -------Original Message------- From: Kathy LintzenichDate: 07/01/06 08:37:03low dose naltrexone Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] LDN Prescription .

Hi,

I know there are a few Dr.'s arond here... I live in Oshawa and it was

my GP that prescribed it.

Call Pharmacy here in Toronto they should know what Dr.'s as he

is the compounder here. If you need one farther East the Oshawa Clinic

pharmacy also compounds it and she has been doing mine since I started

LDN 2004.

Wow that is a long way to travel, from Canada to NYC--who might you be seeing there? I have seen a Dr. Apatoff in Manhattan, he's an MS specialist. Let me know if you should need a place to stay while you are in NYC-I live only about 20 miles north of the city, kate in Ossining, NY [low dose naltrexone] Re: LDN prescriptionlow dose naltrexone > Hi,> I know there are a few Dr.'s arond here... Real "MS specialists" seem rather rare. Too many recommend CRAB drugs and refuse to consider LDN.

Stay in touch so people here can comment on his recommendations.

[low dose naltrexone] LDN prescription

I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I was diagnosed with PPMS in December 2006. I am currently not on any MS therapy medication. I need a doctor in Toronto who will prescribe me LDN. Thank you. Effiya. I have an appt. to see an MS specialist in June at St. s hyere in Toronto.
