It might take a few days for your body to get adjusted to the LDN.  I didn't sleep for 4 days when I started.  Hand in there! All The Best,  ...helpful support groups for people with MSLDN_Users & www.ldnusers.orglow dose naltrexonemscuredTheChronicIllnessCafe On Jul 2, 2006, at 5:54 AM, alkanasooner wrote:I took my first 3 mg dose of LDN last night. and Alkanasooner, I had the total opposite reaction. The first night I took LDN, 3mg, I slept like a baby and had the most wonderful vivid dream. I've been one of the lucky ones I guess. Thanks to everyone for all your help. I will try doing a half dose of

awhile. I really want to give LDN a chance as the CRABS did nothing,

but perhaps make me worse. However, I do have to sleep in order to

work tomorrow.

Thanks again,

A

I took 1.5 my first night and didn't sleep until really late. I would divide the capsules the first month. Thatadvice comes right from the mouth of Phil and Skip. It will wean you into the correct dosage easily with no ill effects. Best, Kathy

My son's dose of LDN is 1/2 ml. I was told

he would experience sleeplessness if I started

him on the entire 1/2 ml dose. I was told to

start at 1/5 of that and increase by 1/5 around

every five days, and he has had no difficulty

sleeping, thankfully! In a few weeks, he

will be at his full dose without that side

effect. Of course, he is receiving it as a

cream from a syringe with no needle, so the

1/5 amount if one mark on the side of the syringe.

I realize others are taking it in different

forms, but this is how we avoided the side effect

of sleeplessness.

That's typical. My wife started at 4.5 mg and didn't sleep until 8 am.

She had so much " nervous energy " he legs were twitching violently. We

had to sleep apart because she was injuring me. The 2nd night she had

the same problem but it was much less severe. The 3rd night was the

same but only slight. After that it never happened again.

Hi LDN Gang :) in reference to sleeping disorders, I punlished an ezine article about a previously unidentified sleep disorder which I continue to suffer, EBS, Empty Bed Syndrome. It's located in the "Rascal's Free Reprint Articles" section of http://MilesBooks.com. Perhaps it started back when I was taking LDN? I doubt it however as my caregiver was then with me ...LOL.
