Guest guest
hi all, i had my first episode about 2 weeks after my dog's distemper vaccine, in feb. 1994. at that time, the neuro i was seeing said, " maybe ms, we have to see if you have a relapse. " well, exactly one year later, again right after the vaccine, i had a relapse! the doc asked me to call my vet for more info on the vaccine, and it turned out it was a live vaccine, shed in the stool. well, prior to 1993, i cleaned up the dog-do maybe weekly. but in 1993-1995 we live in an apartment and i cleaned it up immediately.... even stranger.... in 2004, i had to put my dog (same one) down because he had come down with canine degenerative myelopathy, the canine equivalent of ms! i almost fainted when i heard that! just more food for thought! michelle
Guest guest
yes thats the disease I was thinking of. canine degenerative myelopathy. i'm so tired. I had to go this evening - went to see some of my fellow students filmed-two that I worked on-one I did the photos and the other I was assistant director (and came out awesome!) but remind me tomorrow to do a search about dog viruses that spread to humans. cyndiOn Jun 27, 2006, at 6:23 PM, mbrovitz wrote:hi all,i had my first episode about 2 weeks after my dog's distemper vaccine, in feb. 1994. at that time, the neuro i was seeing said, "maybe ms, we have to see if you have a relapse." well, exactly one year later, again right after the vaccine, i had a relapse! the doc asked me to call my vet for more info on the vaccine, and it turned out it was a live vaccine, shed in the stool. well, prior to 1993, i cleaned up the dog-do maybe weekly. but in 1993-1995 we live in an apartment and i cleaned it up immediately....even stranger.... in 2004, i had to put my dog (same one) down because he had come down with canine degenerative myelopathy, the canine equivalent of ms! i almost fainted when i heard that!just more food for thought!michelle__. Guest guest
, this gives you a possible clue on how to alleviate your ms symptoms or put them into remission. Start looking into the natural anti-virals and see if you feel better.
