Shirley Re: BTK Workshop Instructor << Dear List members: Thanks for all the interest shown in the Back To Kansas Workshop. There have unfortunately been glitches in the registration process, for some people who registered through the Book Clearing House (BCH). (The Book Clearing House contact information is calling 888 35 SHELL, or emailing bookch@... ) Consequently, I am going to extend the registration deadline for two more days, until Wednesday February 5, so that anybody who might have encountered difficulties with registering through BCH will still have a fair opportunity to join us in the workshop. I apologize for the difficulties encountered with BCH. I do not know what their problem has been, since I have brought this attention to the appropriate persons and been given repeated assurance that the problems were all ironed out. However, only today I received yet another email from someone who was unable to register for the Back To Kansas workshop through BCH. I empathize with you - especially since I myself have been unable to get either the agreed-upon fees forwarded to me, or even any response to my queries as to what the problem is. (Needless to say, we will *not* be using the Book Clearing House to receive payments for any future workshops.) If anyone else would like to register for the Back To Kansas Workshop at this point, I'd ask that you please contact me at the following address: p.shirley@... From there, I will give you specific registration instructions. Again, I advise everyone *not* to try to use the Book Clearing House contacts (telephoning 888 35 SHELL, or emailing bookch@...). Please contact me directly instead if you'd still like to join the Back To Kansas workshop, at p.shirley@... Thanks for your time and attention. J.
