Guest guest
Hi Friends, This was by far the easiest surgery that I have had. I had some pre op tests done on Thursday. Dr. Milhorat decided that I needed to have a head and abdomen CT, shunt series, and x rays of my programmable shunt. With all of those tests finished, we found that the shunt drain had coiled and wasn't draining properly. Other than a difficult intubation, the surgery went great :-) I had the surgery yesterday morning, and I was out of the hospital in less than 24 hours. I am a bit sore, but I feel so much better than when I went in. No more headaches and other symptoms seem to be letting up as well. Thanks for all of the good thoughts and prayers. I know that they were heard. Kathleen
