Guest guest
Amamda- I am lucky enough to have a wonderful RE fairly close (3 hours away).....do you have a reasonably close alternative that might offer more MA experience? I am just so tired of us MA girls falling victim to docs w/ little or no MA experience trying to do more than they are capable of. I know that everyone has to learn sometime, but I would like to see us have a readily available option of good, knowledgeable, experienced docs to take care of us!......if only wishes were rainbows.....I will climb down off my soapbox for now. I wish you the best, D UD?
Guest guest
Dear , I couldn't agree with you more and will be staying on the soapbox for you. Ever heard of 'Don't Get Mad, Get Even'? I am trying to live by that mantra at the moment. Whether I am sane or not remains questionable but I find having an aim helps stop me wallowing in my self pity too much. I don't know what to do about finding where the more experienced surgeons are. I am happy so far with the efforts of my new surgeon despite the lack of MA women coming forward for treatment there. At least he credits me with some intelligence, is honest & listens to what I have to say. It may be that a resect is not possible depending on final dx. I might just give up if that's the case as I don't feel I've got it in me to keep on ttc when the odds don't seem to be in my favour. I shall just treasure my dd for the miracle that she is, not that I don't already. I'd go for adoption any day but my dh is adopted & won't even consider it. I'm not pushing it as he has his reasons but we'll see. No wonder I'm seeing a counsellor!
