Hello all,

I hope today finds you all doing well. The reason that I am writing is because my 8 year old daughter is suspected of have onset pediatric MS by her pediatric neuro at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She got sick at 5.5 years of age with what we believe was West Nile virus and at that time suffered from Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM), Meningitis and optic neuritis in both eyes. She then came along fine until last October when she sufered another attack of optic neuritis in her left eye.

At this time we took her to a doctor in Houston, Texas and he did a bunch more tests on her and then advised us to put her on rebif because he believes that she is in the first stages of MS. I really don't like the expense of rebif, but more importantly I don't like the side effects. These side effects could make a beautiful and active 8 year old a sickly little girl.

My question! Is there anyone out there that has a pediatric patient on LDN? My daughter so far does not have any real physical impairments because of MS and we want to keep it that way. Please let me know what folks think out there.
