Guest guest
Angie, Of course I’ll keep praying. It just totally boggles my mind that these “teens” can be so cruel. It always makes me wonder what goes through their minds. I’m so sorry your daughter feels guilty too. You are so right… it’s not her fault, it’s their fault for having no conscience. I know you must be sick to death with worry. I hope you are able to take care of yourself. I know if it were me I would be in the flare from hell. Something that's attached to her stomach was torn away and she's bleeding internally fairly bad. (That's from being kicked repeatedly in the stomach.) They have to go in and try to repair it. Steph is very upset and worried about whether her friend (Krissy) is going to make it or not. Obviously there was some question to that when they rushed her back into surgery. She's been the only one allowed to stay in the room with her, so she's gone back to the hospital to be there when she comes out of surgery; and she's spending the night. They even rolled a bed for her into the room. My daughter has been through so much and she's only 17. She has broken out in a stress-rash (the doc at the hospital told her that was what it is) and she can't sleep; and she can't even cry right now. I think she's more angry, frustrated and worried. She also feels responsible because this pair is obsessed with her and her boyfriend. I tried to assure her it was THEIR fault, the people that are obsessed, not hers. Krissy had been estranged from her parents and was in the process of being emancipated so even her parents aren't on the top of her visitor's list - but they are allowed brief visits. Since she's in ICU they are very strict about visitors. So both boyfriends (Steph's and Krissy's) are camping out in the waiting room. This whole thing seems like a bad dream. Please pray for Krissy (if you are so inclined).
