Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes! This is the way it is - I'm never sure

whether it is the fibro, the celiac disease or my arthritis. I don't

see how you are able to go to work everyday. I am retired but I make

myself walk my 82 pound collie everyday in the woods at least once.

Luckily he doesn't pull unless one of the neighborhood dogs is out

that he does not like. It is a matter of pride for my dog to

establish the fact that he is THE top dog in the neighborhood.

I'll be seeing my pain specialist this afternoon and I have lots of

new pain to tell him about. (mostly in my knees and fingers)

Take care, Margaret B

I can't say it's normal because I've never liked the word but I know exactly

what you're going through because that's me to a " T " . I never know from one

day to the next what part of me is hurting and sometimes it changes hourly.

I find it so frustrating and by the end of the day I feel like a rag doll

someone stepped on all day. Hope you get to feeling better. You can only

take it one day at a time.

-- bouncing symptoms

Does anyone else have symptoms that bounce around like this and are

different from day to day, but recurring over time? I feel like if I

explain it to " regular " people they think I am a hypochondriac.

I just want to know if this is " normal " for FM for symptoms to bounce and

change like this.

Merci beaucoup!

I don't say my symptoms bounce either. Besides fibro, I have

gastritis and irritable bowel syndrome. Those were diagnosed several

years before fibro. I inherited my GI problems from my mom. My GI

doctor treats them, too.

Also am going through perimenopause so my female trouble is from

that. A menopausal doctor treats me. I do agree that a spastic

bladder can be related to fibro. Take meds for that.

Hypothyroidism is a separate problem from fibro. But fibro patients

can mimic the symptoms. Since last year I had my thyroid gland

removed I see an endo for that.

I am with you on the symptoms that " bounce " . Mine tend ot go from

Headache first (usually my warning) or sometimes massive Migrane, into

body aches like the flu, then a sore throat, weak body and no energy.

I am sending some good weekend feeling vibes your way!

Oh, thank you both!! I thought I was losing my mind!!

I walk my TWO 80+-lb dogs as much as possible too. It's one of my few

pleasures in life. And yes, they too want to be top dog lol!

Thanks! Today, it was my neck and shoulder flaring once again and

extreme fatigue. Oh boy! At least the flu-ey-ness is gone for now.

Debbie-

You and I have the same kind of problems. I have a very sensitive stomach and

bowel system. It acts up so easily that I have to very careful about what I eat

and keep Imodium around and Pepto. My dr. gives me some prescription for

nausea, whenever I feel sick I just take one and it usually works. Sometimes I

have to lie down though.

Please don't shake me, no don't wake me, leave me where I am, I'm only sleeping.

Thanks Sylvia for your support.

I have to be careful what I eat, too. Lately my IBS keeps getting

irritated. Monday if the roads don't freeze I see my GI.

Have a nice warm weekend.
