Guest guest
Dear Friends I was wondering about the effects of spinal taps after a decompression surgery. Before I was operated on, I had a spinal for anesthesia and my ear was throbbing from the inceased pressure. The surgery helped a bit but since I still have a CSF block, I still have the ear pressure but it is not as constantly violent as it was before the surgery. I have to have a tap again and I am really afraid the throbbing will return. They say once the tonsils are not plugging the opening anymore, the risk of having the throbbing return is reduced but I wonder if any of you have had experience with this? I have heard of a fiber otic cranial bolt that s used instead of a tap but it is surgery as they have to drill into the head to place it. Thank you and Love Dana
