,

You paid Dr. Bihari and if I were in your

place I would call him and discuss the pros and cons of continuing. He may

have felt that you came across as wanting to continue the Avonex and as far as

he is concerned, he may feel ambivalent either way. I strongly advise you to

call him back.

Good for you to get on the LDN!

hi all!

i had my first phone consult with dr. bihari monday. my ldn should be

on it's way! i am currently on avonex (and have been for 11 years). i

asked him about continuing the avonex, and he said it would be ok!

everything i have read disagrees with that! i have no plans to

continue the shots (i'm not crazy, yet!), but wondered what everyone

thought about this...

thanks!

DAMN!! This is the first I've heard that it's OK to take any ABR drug along with LDN. I'd like to get some clarification on this. Avonex suppresses the immune system and LDN enhances it. mmmmmm? I'm surprised Dr. Bihari would say okay to staying on Avonex and take

LDN too. If he did this goes against what I was told. Avonex

supresses the immune system while LDN enhances it.
