If you're a compounding pharmacist and you only have one or two

patients who need LDN, I think the tablets would be less expensive

than buying the pure powder.

I checked a wholesale distributor -- Here are the prices for pure

Naltrexone powder in bulk:

N1253 Naltrexone Hydrochloride 100 mg $81.73

N1253 Naltrexone Hydrochloride 1 g $173.50

N1374 Naltrexone Hydrochloride, USP 1 g $199.44

N1374 Naltrexone Hydrochloride, USP 5 g $544.44

8687HP Naltrexone Hydrochloride, USP 25 g $1,180.36

8686HP Naltrexone Hydrochloride, USP 100 g $4,094.38

N1374 Naltrexone Hydrochloride, USP 1 kg $26,113.19

(Voight Global Distribution)

And I did a Froogle (Google's shopping searcher) for Naltrexone

tablets ...

A random hit from USMedcenter.com (whoever they are) offers --

Naltrexone HCL 50mg (30 pills) $52.92

So, if I were a small compounding pharmacy, I would probably buy the

pills.

But I don't know. I'm just guessing.
