Guest guest
Barbara, I thought of you today as Ross and I were enjoying a 's ish shortbread cookie. Did you know that just one of those lovely little (1 " x 3 " ) cookies is 100 calories and 6g of fat?! Ross loves them, but I really should keep myself away from them. I just love the pictures of Hamish! I especially love the ones of him on the horse and in his kilt! As the picture of bathtime was loading (from the top of the picture going down), my husband, Jeff, and I said, " Oh, there's the familiar head! " We had to laugh, it looked just like Ross' did as a three-month-old. I think the extra calories at bedtime do make a difference, according to what Dr. Harbison said to us. She told us that Ross should always have a snack before bedtime to keep those particular calories on without burning them off. (This might sound silly, but I pictured you with long, dark hair! - I think I have " pictures " of everyone on this list in my head!) Keep us posted on Hamish's weight. Ross is up to 30 lbs. by our scales this morning! To anyone whose child is on GH -- does being on GH help put on the weight, too? We told him that if he can keep his weight up to 30 lbs. or above for three days in a row he can use his carseat with the regular seatbelt instead of the carseat straps (it recommends this at a minimum of 30 lbs.). He is very excited and we're using this to boost those calories! Dennise Ross - 5 1/2, 38 " , 30 lbs (according to our scale), Periactin, GH, asymmetry Do you think that the extra calories particularly at bedtime are what's really piling the weight on? Just a thought about obviously not burning them off overnight. Let's hope it translates into growth too. Will keep you posted on the actual weight. Guest guest
I'm going to look for those cookies! I was saying exactly the same thing at the same picture!! How funny. I still can't get over seeing kids who look so much like my own. He's so adorable.
