Which pills are you on? Maybe your pain was caused by a hormone

imbalance and now the pills have balanced it out some??? Just

thinking out loud.

This could be because the pill suppresses your own hormones including

testosterone. I don't know what can be done to bring that back while

on the pills unless your doctor will let you try some testosterone.

Maybe he/she can check your test. level and see if it is low.

A hormonal imbalance can cause vvs pain, so the pill can counter that. I

have heard of women who have had a decrease in vvs pain when taking the pill. I

think I've read that certain pills hormone balances can also interfere with

orgasm. You might want to try another pill with a different hormonal balance to

see if it improves that problem, although a change in the pill could bring

the pain back. I'd also have some hormone testing done to see if there is an

imbalance.

If you have been taking any anti-inflammatories like Motrin, Vioxx, Celebrex,

etc... that may have also eliminated most of your pain.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm taking Yasmin, b/c my doctor said

that it has the best effect on PMS and menstrual problems. I don't

really know much about the difference in the types of BCPs but on the

package the pills come in it says each pill contains 3.0 mg of

drospirenone and 0.030 mg of ethinyl estradiol. Does that mean

anything to you?

I'd really like to try that!!! I wonder if you can get it OTC or if

it's only through a prescription? Have you (or anyone reading this)

tried Testosterone cream with any success? I went to see my doctor

about this libido problem, thinking it was likely a side-effect of

the BCPs, and I got the " male doctor brush off " . . . He didn't

prescribe anything, but just said to give it another month to see if

that side-effect lessens. I felt like asking him how he'd like it if

HE couldn't cum for three months!!! Grrrrr. I'm sure if I was a man

he'd have prescribed something. I may just call him back and ask him

to call in a prescription for testosterone cream for me. It's just

ridiculous that he didn't offer me anything to try to help.

Thanks for the reply, Lynn! :)
