Guest guest
Hi Barb, I am not certain...I can't see it being an issue though. Best wishes. But as I was looking at the calendar I was figuring out when I am supposed to start. Did any of you have your cycle during the surgery and will they deny me the surgery date that I need to have because I will still be on my cycle. Any info would be good. Guest guest
Aunt Flo is no longer one of my relatives. LOL! Don't worry. That is not a cause to cancel surgery. Many of my friends had surgery at their time of the month. Robyn > > Hello Ladies, > > I need to have my surgery on a certain date, because of work and all > the fun stuff. Guest guest
TO: " happieruth2 " Hi Barb, I was due to start my period the day before surgery so I too worried about this. I asked the Bariatric Nurse about it and she just laughed and told me not to worry at all. It will not effect your surgery in the least. She also told me that a large majority of women will also start their period within a few days of surgery, even if you just had one, because of the changes in your body. I read back through posts at Obesityhelp and true enough, alot of women said the same thing. So, dont worry! I ended up ending my period the day before surgery thankfully and didnt have another one for almost 6 weeks. Guest guest
Hi Barb, I was in a similar situation as you, but nerves played into it and I ended up not having one until a few weeks after surgery. By then, I was up and around, so no biggie. I hope yours goes the same way! Good luck ) Susie > > Hello Ladies, > > I need to have my surgery on a certain date, because of work and all > the fun stuff.
