Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just joined. I am a 32 y.o., single mother of three, formerly a paralegal and just recently received SS disability. As of October 28th, will have had CFS for two years. I know that is nothing compared to most of you. Just started speech and occupational therapy. I have done most of my own research on this. Which is saying alot since my brain is 1/8 of what it used to be. Really my functional IQ is 50, my average 98 from 157. I am tired of being told that there is no treatment other than what I am doing already. I am walking 15 min a day, take vitamins, wellbutrin and am trying to wake up my brain. This is all I can do. Now I need to find a decent Doctor. I am on the waiting list for the Seattle CFS clinic, but I am stuck with medical coupons. I live in Kitsap County in Washington State. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Anne ===== __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I went to a Naturopath in Olympia. I only went once so I can't say much, but at least he knows some about CFIDS. His names was Dr Dunn. You can probably do pretty well by reading all the archives as much as you can and seeing what the rest of us are doing. And you'll do better with any doctor because you will go in with specific things you want to try. One thing I feels strongly about that is over the counter is that you should be taking undenatured whey protein (Imuplus or ImmunePro.) Doris Re: Digest Number 2039 Hi everyone, I just joined. Guest guest
My husband takes 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon berfore dinner. I seem to remember Kirkman's (where we bought it from) mentioning 2 equal doses during the day. The second dose works best not too close to bedtime - makes it difficult to sleep if taken before bed. Guest guest
ThreeLac is the only thing that has changed my life with regards to candida. It has helped my daughter also not have any more ear infections--which I now believe are caused by fungus in the ears. If anyone has any questions they can contact me directly at lbumholtz@... Guest guest
I remember reading somewhere that extensive juice/water fasts can cure epilepsy. I would also try raw cacao... http://www.naturaw.com/raw_chocolate.html Steve Adler Founder & CEO NatuRAW 851 Irwin Street, Suite 304 San , CA 94901 USA 415-456-1719 x 111 775-587-8613 fax http://www.naturaw.com ------ In July of this year he had a craniotomy to remove the part of his brain where his most severe seizures were originating from. After a crazy first month after the surgery he had been seizure free for two months. Now we are seeing 2-3 nocturnal seizures daily. Proper rest and diet, and as little stress as possible is so important. At the age of 14, he isnt very receptive to these changes...ugh! Guest guest
Hi, Hope everyone's weekend was terrific. To update everyone, I started LDN five days ago (1.5 capsule). Not really feeling much of a change at all. If anything, I feel more pain, especially in the morning. Is this normal? How long should I give it before I ask for an increase ? Thanks for any info you provide. Maureen mfloughman@... end .................................... Guest guest
Hi Maureen, Everyone reacts differently, so it is hard to say how long you should give it. I would give it at least a couple of weeks at the lower dosage. If you still feel pain then let us know and I will look at the old posts that I have save regarding pain and forward them on to you. Most likely it will decrease, but keep us posted please.
