Guest guest
Hi Carolyn, Poor Georgina gets all kinds of requests to fix things. Not 100% sure but go to the JRA list website and look for some sort of edit thingy.I am far from a computer wizard and has needed help often. It should give you a choice of how you receive mail. You want to click on all personal e-mails sent directly to your inbox. Thanks to Rusty room things have calmed downed but at times you could be facing a couple hundred e-mail a month.I just delete things that do not pertain to my childs disease and it's not really that bad.Funny though, people get upset when there is to much mail and get upset when things are slow.If that doesn't work, rest assured Georgina is like an angel and will help you out. There is defiantely a special place in heaven for her.Someday, somehow we will make it to Hawaii and thank her personally. Guest guest
I currently receive all messages in Digest format. Does anyone know how I can view messages that say, 'this message not in displayable format'? This appears to be happening mostly to Georgina's messages, and only recently did it start. I would love to be able to view all messages! Thanks - Carolyn G. (mom to Dylan, 5, pauci) wrote:
Guest guest
-Hi Carolyn, Im not sure how to fix your problem.. but I do have a suggestion if you are on digest because of mail volume in your inbox. Switch to " no mail " and then read the posts at the website. This way your mail box remains emtpy and you can read along when its conveinent to you. I am on about 10 different groups, some i own and some i help moderate ( mostly China adoption lists, and one list is very high volume, 100-150 post a day) I couldnt never keep up. So now im on no mail on all of them and log onto the website and scan though to those that are of interest to me. On a slow group, such as this, im able to read evey post. On the high volume, i usually skip a lot. I have not had any problem reading all of the posts. Hope this help and good luck Hugs Helen and (5, systemic) -- In , Arthurnator@w... wrote: > Hi Carolyn, > Poor Georgina gets all kinds of requests to fix things. Not 100% sure but go > to the JRA list website and look for some sort of edit thingy.I am far from a > computer wizard and has needed help often. It should give you a choice of how > you receive mail. You want to click on all personal e-mails sent directly to your > inbox. Thanks to Rusty room things have calmed downed but at times you could > be facing a couple hundred e-mail a month.I just delete things that do not > pertain to my childs disease and it's not really that bad.Funny though, people get > upset when there is to much mail and get upset when things are slow.If that > doesn't work, rest assured Georgina is like an angel and will help you out. There > is defiantely a special place in heaven for her.Someday, somehow we will make > it to Hawaii and thank her personally. > Hugs > Becki and 4systemic
Guest guest
Hi Becki, You are so kind :-) Thanks so much for explaining the way it works. Yes, we've had periods of lots of mail coming through the list. I remember some months when we had over a thousand messages. It seems like things have definitely settled down around here. Sometimes it's downright quiet! With school being out a lot of us can't get online as often as usual, I guess. Like right now ... the kids are itching to get me off so we can head out. So, I'll make this short. And I'll be in touch soon. Guest guest
Hi Helen, Wow, I'm impressed! I don't know how you do it, being on so many groups! First thought was, she must have taken a speed-reading course :-) I hope is doing well these days. You too, of course. When I first learned that I had hypothyroidism, I was put on Armour by a homeopath. Then my GP switched me to Synthroid because he said it would be easier to monitor. I foolishly followed his directive. Now I would love to switch back to Armour but don't know if it would be effective. Please advise. .. ..>>> I get a prescription for Armour thyroid from my family doctor. No problem and it is quite inexpensive. mjh mjh http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/

Worth a try, although lactose in itself is used by acidophilus to defeat yeast...
