Guest guest
I'm usually not plagued with ambivalence, but in this instance I could be swayed in one of two directions. My dilemma is whether to reconfigure the list to accept attachments. On one hand, my general laissez-faire attitude would say that I should go ahead and allow attachments and just let each person decide for themselves whether to open the attachments or not. On the other hand, I'd feel really bad if a lot of listmembers caught a virus from someone's attachment (I'm usually immune to the run-of-the-mill executable virus because I use a Mac)... so what do you think? Do you care one way or the other? I originally set up the list to refuse attachments because some people's computers don't read HTML emails very well, but I'm a member of a different list on which attachments are allowed, and we haven't had any trouble with them AND we've been able to share pics of our kids with each other. So I'm willing, if it matters to anyone. -Kris
