Guest guest
Hi And thank you for the warm welcome.... I am sorry to hear you were diagnosed so long ago. I was diagnosed in 1999 but I actually had juvenile arthritis when I was 7... It eventually snowballed and here I am today, 33 and semi disabled.. I really liked the sound of the group and am hoping I fit in well. I am 33 and live with 63, we have a 30 year age difference but it works well for us, we have been together almost 3 years.. I suffer from fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, chronic fatigue, restless legs, bursitis and plantar faciitis.. I tried all sorts of drugs for fibro and RA but found nothing worked.. I am know on morphine and other painkillers to keep the pain at bay.. I also suffered a accident in 1999 and have 35% loss of back and 25% loss of legs.. I do manage to get around with some difficulty.. Oh and yes I am from Sydney Australia.. I look forward to getting to know you all and I hope I can be of some support to you all.. Guest guest
Welcome to the group Heidi!! My weekends are busy so I couldn't welcome you sooner. My name is Debbie and I learned I have fibro in 1991. My symptoms started sooner though. Do you belong to the RA-support group? It's a excellent one for RA. Sorry to read about your bad accident that made you disable. It's good you do have a loving partner, . This is a great group to belong to also. Looking forward to reading more from you. warm hugs, Debbie J > > I am Heidi, a new member of the list.. > Okay where do I start..
