Guest guest
Ooh, Vick, I'm right there in the same boat, no lie. I know my surgery is still intact because I still barf (puked up some really tasty beef stew last night, in fact), but it's so easy to eat the wrong stuff and so hard to eat the good stuff. I got up this morning and vowed I wasn't going to put another one of those dadgum Deluxe Grahams in my mouth... I've had it! We really need to become diet buddies or something... I can't diet like I *want* to because, like you, I'm nursing and I don't want to sour my milk with excess ketones or dry it up by not consuming enough... I went onto a couple of websites to find out what they suggested a nursing mother eat, and I've been trying to follow their basic guideline minus all the grains because they just suggest waaaay too many grains IMO and I can't eat them very well anyway. But I'll bet I'd do better if I'd just stop eating crap, pure and simple. Last night before I went to bed I ate some vanilla ice cream and a bowl of Captain Crunch. How's THAT for eating healthy? Ewwww... -Kris >Hi all, I gave birth 10/4 and gained 28 lbs with pregnancy. Guest guest
Hi all, I gave birth 10/4 and gained 28 lbs with pregnancy. I had the VBG 6-97 and had lost about 165 lbs prior to preg, now I am regaining and can't seem to quit eating all the wrong stuff. I don't feel the surgery is working anymore, but it must be at times because I still throw up. I am still breastfeeding, so I can't cut calories too drastically but I need a kick in the butt or something. I guess when I had the surgery I thought that would be the end to dieting, but I guess I was wrong. Vicki
