Max and others, it was several members complaining that almost every message

he posted was humor and some of it was offending and the subject did not

reflect such. And no, I will not give their names. They came to me privately,

not

complaining to the whole group as stated in the rules. Maybe the rules need

to be posted once a week instead of once a month. I enjoy humor as much and

probably more than anyone. I preach " laughter is the best medicine " .

I belong to a group that has a lot of humor, but I don't post jokes, etc to

the diabetes group every day. We have over 1400 members. Some of these

members can only read their messages at work and do not have time to read a lot

of

" OT " messages.

This group is for everyone, not just for a few people.

Eunice don't feel bad about it, I appreciate all the work that gets done

here. There is always something new to learn, and sometimes people take

things too far. It was not appropriate for to post that way to the

group. To me it seems a bit of an " attention " grabber. Poor me...lookie

what happened to me. Wanting people to " feel bad " for him and affirm that

he wasn't doing anything " wrong " . The need to " show " the moderator team.

Very childish.

Not one person here knows what happens behind the scenes on this group,

other than the ones doin the work behind the scenes. When being told

something is inappropriate, then look at it, and see...possibly this isn't

right for this group. Don't post to the whole group and say " lookee here,

feel bad for me "

With a group this size, it is hard to keep every post on topic, but

sometimes things go a little far off topic. It happens to everyone.

Not everyone has the same sense of humor, I know that some things I find

funny, that others done (not just talking about things of late). I don't

complain to anyone. If I have an issue with someone I take it to them.

Either on group or off.

I am a person with strong opinions, and can have some pretty crass Ideas,

but some of the things of late offended even me. That is a HARD thing to

do.

Well Angelia,

It must be so hard being so perfect.

How callous of you, in all your perfectness, to state that was

" attention getting " - I didnt read it that way at all.

I think it is inappropriate, in any group, to imply, infer or presume such

motives when nothing of the sort was said/posted. I read nothing of the

kind into the message.
