Guest guest
You can have a low blood sugar or even low potassium that can cause shakies. Did you eat much today or even drink plenty water? I don't blame all my symptoms on fibro. There are other things that can cause them, too. Mostly around 6 in the evening while I was making dinner. Very odd. However, I sometimes will have this happen while I am exercising (rarely but it has happened at least 3 X in the last year while I was on the treadmill. Even more odd is that I was ravenous the last couple of times and ran upstairs and began to eat anything I could find with sugar in it. Went to the doctor. Of course all tests came back fine. I don't think what happens now is the fibro but I do think that when it happened years ago that the fibro messed up the levels of all the different hormones in my body and that maybe I had an adrenaline rush or a glucose spike and drop. It certainly felt like it was " organic " and not anything neurological. The other thought I had was that I wasn't eating well and maybe I was simply exhausted and my body was screaming for rest and a proper meal. I would have it checked. I never blame anything on fibro unless I have the symptom checked by my doc and we discuss whether it is something that needs further examination or if it can be explained as being part of fibro symptoms. It just makes me feel more protected to have my doctor's opinion and to keep him in the loop just in case the odd symptom escalates or morphs into something more severe. Guest guest
The shaky feeling and the cravings for carbs is a symptom of hypoglycemia. Not eating at regular times and exercise can both bring this on. I am diabetic (type 2) and also have fibro. I have to watch that I don't go too low when I exercise. Has your doctor checked you for diabetes? If not then ask him the next time you see him. He will have some blood work done to check your HbA1c which will tell him and you what your blood sugar has been doing over the past 3 months. Later... " A heart at peace gives life to the body.
