I only drink once in a blue moon anyway lol....I'm not a drinker and about the only time I drink is if we go out to dinner somewhere or maybe a special occassion. Coffee on the other hand is out of the question. I can't drink coffee anymore now the I'm on LDN. Guest guest Posted May 29, 2006 Report Share Posted May 29, 2006 Hi Raleigh, I posted the same question a while back because I've been known to enjoy many a happy hour after a stressful week at work and I too was worried about drinking while taking LDN. Some people wrote back to me reporting that they felt drunker after a couple of drinks and some said they felt nothing different. Well, I'm happy to report that I started LDN about 2 months ago and have had NO effects when I've gone drinking with my friends. My tolerance is exactly the same as it was before taking the LDN and ever since the weather here in NYC has been getting warmer, I've definitely been making use of outdoor bars and restaurants with MANY botles of beer and glasses of wine! LOL I have asked many doctors including Dr. Bihari and he assured me that the alcohol causes no adverse effects, nor does it cancel out the LDN or anything like that. If you are worried, like I was, I tried drinking a few beers at home to see if I felt any side effects and after I felt nothing, I knew everything was fine. Good luck and take care!
