I'm pretty new to this process, but the label describes maaltodextrin

in the product. My " SCD legal list indicates this is NOT legal, so I

would beware---

easy to make

your own. Remember coconut is a dried fruit so it's an advanced food because

the sugars

and fiber are concentrated. Katy

Katy,

We were at a pub and the menu listed shrimp crusted and deep fried with

coconut. I

decided I could make this at home. It was delicious and I used a mayo coating so

the

unsweetened coconut would adhere to the shrimp. I added a drizzle of honey when

it was

finished. At midnight I awoke with red flaming itchy knees, took compounded

benadryl and

used an anti itch cream. Then I turned on my computer and did some research

discovering

coconut can be cross reactive with latex allergy.
