legality of canned/bottled tomatoes from Italy

In " Eat Well Feel Well " (which BTW has a lot of delicious recipes)

Kendall Conrad claims that tomato sauce and other canned foods from

Italy can be SCD legal because in Italy they have to put every

ingredient on the label, no matter how small the amount. I have been

using bionature brand organic strained tomatoes (in a bottle) and

bionature diced tomatoes (in a can) as well as Pomi tomatoes (in the

little carton) -- all from Italy, and all appear to be SCD legal. Any

opinions on whether Italian canned foods are truly legal would be

greatly appreciated. I've been doing some questioning of our staple

foods since my son has had a small relapse.
