Guest guest
I just wanted to update everyone on Case. Remember that she was admitted in the hospital last Friday for pneumonia. She wasn't doing very well, as part of her lung had collapsed. Each day provided improvement. She finally got to go home today (Thurs.) around 2 p.m. She is still doing the breathing treatments at home, but she is off the oxygen. The doc did blood work in the hospital that told him the type of pneumonia she has, and said it is treatable with oral antibiotics, so no more IVs. I am sure she was happy when she heard that! She is eating some and drinking though she doesn't have much of an appetite. Her pacer is acting up, so she is going to the Cardio tomorrow to get it reset. All in all, she is feeling better. Having a bit of trouble with her breathing, but it is better. She is so happy that she is home. That really makes a difference! I want to thank everyone who sent her emails, cards, those who called, those who prayed and kept her in their thoughts. I know we all come together when one of us is in need. Thanks! will be back online in a few days as soon as she is up to it. I am sure we will hear from her soon. Happy Holidays! in NC Chiari, Stenosis, Dysautonomia (POTS/OI, NCS)
