Guest guest
I am so glad I have you all to vent to....here's the story...I do a clinic of back doctors and one of the doctors, an anesthesiologist comes in once a week on Wednesdays to do local epidural injections. So every Wednesday I have my IC go in and pick up the tape. She usually has a small wait for the doc to finish, which was her usual for today..only this time she waits for over 20 minutes and finally after every patient is gone she asks if the doc is done yet...they knew why she was there...they saw her come in...they make her wait 20 minutes and then she listens to them chit chat about vacations, etc. the office manager finally says " oh Dr. XX won't have any dictation today as he just bought a $10,000 voice recognition system....ok fine, I know you can lose doctors to these things or to written forms, but why could they not give me a call and tell me this in advance? why could they not tell her the second she got there?...the way this clinic has always worked is I call them to see if they have any dictation, but I'm thinking..you know what, you have dictation you call me!!!!! it totally pisses me off that they didn't even have the common courtesy to let her or me know this in advance...when they well knew...also I went on vacation and was gone for 3 weekdays and took my IC to the clinic and clearly stated that if they had any dictation to give her a call...after two days they call her and were very snotty saying she was supposed to call them...but I was very clear that while I was gone for them to call her...they knew this and agreed to it....so what to do you think?...this is a small output clinic....I made the most money on the weekly doc...so I think they can start calling me...I've kissed their butts long enough. there..I feel better and thanks for " listening " val
