PLEASE READ/ POSTING HINTS

Hi Friends,

A couple of members have asked me to post the posting hints again. I

posted these the other day with a NCC in the subject line. Maybe a few

of you didn't read the post because of that. So, I didn't put NCC in the

header this time.

Here are posting guidelines to follow when posting through WACMA.

Please try to remember to place NCC (no

chiari content) if your post

doesn't have anything to do with chiari. Please change the

subject

header if you are replying to someone's post that doesn't

contain any

chiari content as well.

Please remember to send your post to the person involved

if it only

pertains to them. Reply to all goes directly to the list

and the person. Check your address line before sending your post, delete

any address that you don't want the post to be sent to.

Some members have difficulty reading posts that aren't

broken up into

3-4 lines. Try to remember to put a space in once in a

while.

Do not resubmit the entire post that you're responding to.

Many of our

members have slower computers and/or

they download the email, and this can actually double the

time it takes to get

their mail. It also slows down the speed for everyone who

reads the messages on the web only. Quote *only* what is

needed to allow

the reader to understand what you're talking about.

I would much rather be helping members that are in need of

information. I don't like to send out private reminders. If you receive

a reminder from me, don't be offended. I am just trying to help the

majority of the list :-)
