OK, I've run into this twice tonight. The doctor says the patient has a

signed DNR CCA. I know what DNR stands for, but I don't know what CCA

stands for. Anyone know?

Thanks,

Pattie

This is what is listed for CCA in the new edition of Medical Abbreviations

by Neil M. that might go along with DNR:

concentrated care unit

critical care unit

the others are as follow but I don't think they are what you are looking

for....still just a student here so who knows....didn't want to leave them

out:

calcium-channel antagonist

circumflex coronary artery

common carotid artery

countercurrent chromatography

Hope this helps,
