Hi ,

I am in Virginia, glad to see you. Sometimes I think I'm the only one on the East coast w/MS. But, I'm sure there is more, just wish I knew some.

3 IN THIS LIL TOWN I LIVE IN NOW.....KNEW ONLY 2 IN

The issue with MS is believed to have more

to do with where we spent our childhood and early adolescence than where we

ended up. I for example lived primarily in Los Angeles

and some in Northern Carolinia. LA would not

be typical for MS distribution.

MOSTLY GREW UP IN CALI AND 2 OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS THAT

GOT MS ALSO, ONLY LIVED THERE. ME AND MY SIS TRAVELLED

BETWEEN PA AND CALI ALL THE TIME BUT THANKS :) JUST

BEIN FRIENDLY I GUESS

OH, I EMAILED THE RESEARCHERS AT U OF PA THAT DID THE

LDN STUDY ON CHRONS....I'LL UPDATE AS I GET INFO OR IF

Hi ,

My husband grew up in Bergen County NJ, where there seems to be an abundance of people with MS. One of his many siblings also has MS.

Someone said that there is a town in Canada that has an extremely high concentration of people afflicted with MS.

Oh but, Sometimes it is nice for everyone to see our appreciation. But (me

being the worst for replying to things) sometimes it might be cumbersome for

Sorry, my pc was down n out most of the

day.....errr....I'd guess we were but not positive and

my mom died 14 years ago from cancer so no way to find

out cuz I have more than a typical dysfunction

family....definately dysfunctional but not

typical.....lol....I don't doubt the ms came from my

mom's side though cuz her brother died from it and my

cousin that has it is on her side also.....why? I'm

curious.

I put it to you that you shouldn't think your cousin died from MS. I'll bet

his death certificate says something else caused his death -- despite that

he may have lived with MS casting a shadow over his abilities for most of

his life.

THEY NEVER PUT DOWN THAT YOU DIE FROM THIS DISEASE,

IT'S ALWAYS PNEUMONIA OR A BLOOD CLOT OR SOMETHING,

BUT TO ME THAT IS A DIRECT RESULT FROM MS.
