Thanks go to God for reminding me that I had turned on the possibility to use multiple monitors with my laptop. I now have it hooked up to a monitor and a separate keyboard. LOL Now I don't have to even open up the laptop except to turn it on. I will try and find someone after the holidays that can fix it, but this will do for now.
