Guest guest
I'm pretty sure you're supposed to lose weight while breastfeeding. It's when you stop breastfeeding that it's hard to lose weight. I've had several breastfeeding friends tell me that. I had surgery on 11/17/98 and now I'm down to 141.5 and am 4 1/2 weeks pregnant and haven't gained an ounce, but I'm trying not to. I eat 5 small meals a day and eat VERY healthy. I'm very worried about gaining more than 25 pounds. Wish me luck! Guest guest
]]]]]]Does anyone else who had a baby shortly after surgery, before they were done loosing weight, wonder about where they would be now?? margaret Yes, I had my surgery April 1998 and my baby Dec1999/ My shoes went from 10 to 9.5 and my ring went from 9 to 7.25 my weight went from 375 to 270 now. I just wonder if I would have lost more if I hadn't been pregnant. I really don't care because I had the surgery for my health and to get pregnant and am so pleased with my little bundle of joy who turned 6 weeks old yesterday. But yes, I wonder if I would have lost more faster if I wasn't pregnant. I'm nursing now and wonder if I will hold weight on a little easier because of that too? Look at how far you have come. I was looking at your before and after pics and the recent baby pics, and, you still look fantastic. I am not saying nursing should be a form of weight loss, but, for you it took the first 20 off very good. For Margaret it worked a bit more, but, she is also a bit heavier than you, too. I think it all comes down to percentages, perhaps. I did hear that somewhere. Don't mind me, I am rambling.................. <baby on brain> But, I did join a few conception lists on onelist today.
