Hi Kitty, May I add to this sentence that I use a paper towel to turn the water faucet on and off in public restrooms. hugs Eunice
Guest guest
Here are some suggestions from the Infectious Diseases doctor at the hospital I used to work at. Drink plenty of fluids. Get plenty of rest. Wash hands frequently. Keep hands away from nose, mouth and eyes. Stay home when you are sick. When using the restroom, use your paper towel to open the door. (Our restroom has a hand dryer but I use toilet paper to dry my hands and open the door.) It is amazing how many women leave without washing their hands!!! If you have to cough or sneeze and don't have a tissue or handkerchief, use your sleeve. I keep a bottle of Purell at my desk (at work) and if I have to go to another desk to help someone, I use it when I come back to my desk. I also clean my keyboard and mouse with an antibacterial wipe every morning because our desks are shared with people working other shifts. Antibacterial soap simply allows germs to get stronger just as they do when people take antibiotics. Amber

Hi Jany, I'm not a nurse, but I learned a lot 9 years ago when my immune system was very low. hugs Eunice
